There is always an area in need of help from an abundance of litter. Monofiliment and other marine debris is deadly once in Florida waters. We have clean ups almost monthly and are always looking for volunteers and new locations!
We strive to provide programs to everyone within our community. Saneka's Legacy can be seen traveling the entire state putting on presentations and programs. Our goal is to ensure you care about what is around you, and making it a healthier place for us and our wildlife.
There are many invasives taking over Florida (and no were not just talking about the Iguanas) there are many plant species sold in big box stores such as Asparagus Fern and Tropical Lantana. Invasive species can be detrimental to native habitats! They may be pretty, but they generally serve no purpose to our native wildlife and will choke out our native plant species.
